Any suggestions or tips that might help? Anyone have experience with this? I tend to gain about twice the recommended weight and am terrified to gain that much again.
    I actually work at a gym and am not heavy at all when I am not pregnant. (size 4-6) I was training for a marathon when I found out I am expecting twins. I currently run about 40 miles or so a week. The past week nausea has kept me off the road completely. This is my fifth pregnancy and despite the fact I gain 70 pounds every time the doctor refuses to send me to a dietician. She feels that since I lose it so quickly (in 9-10 months of delivery) that it doesn’t really matter. It is just so miserable to be that big!

    i have 169 lbs to get to my low health weight. i had a baby 7 months ago. and i gained about 300 lbs during the pregnancy, i had diabetes, and until i got pregnant i worked out everyday, but then i got put on limited activity so i couldn’t work out anymore.

    i’ve never been skinny skinny, a size 8/10 is about as low as i get, and i’m fine with that, but i need to lose weight. i want to be healthy, diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure and just about everything else runs in my family,

    i have cut out all soda. i drink a lot of water a day. now the women in my family have a history of being big, but i just went to the dr, i have no thyroid problems, she said i will prob get diabetes later on, but i’m healthy. except i’m over weight.

    here is a pic of me before i got pregnant, and then a few of me during and after the pregnant so you get an idea, i know i cut my head out of some, i don’t want the oh but you are still really pretty comments. thank you but i want to lose weight, i really have no time to work out, i walk May-Oct every year 2x a day 3/4 of a mile both times, which includes going up a long steep hill, that’s’ about it. thank you for any and all tips and advices and experiences

    i should add i do 100 crunches every day,

    also it’s really my booty and my tummy and my arms that are big, i still have small legs, the thighs are a little larger, but the majority of my weight is from my waist up, i have linebacker shoulders my husband says, and i tummy almost as big as when i was preg, and a butt,
    oh yeah, i take prenatal vit, and iron because i’m annemic, so i do take vit now.

    you know how some people are so strong that their veins show? I knew a woman. very thin. and her veins stuck out b/c she was so frickin strong. I want that. she doesnt look like grossly strong. she looks toned

    then I will worry about losing weight. I am a size 11 in jeans. I’m hoping to be around a 5-7

    I am recovering from an eating disorder so please dont tell me any drastic diet tips

All my pre-pregnancy work seems to have been undone, and now, after what happened, I can’t seem to get motivated again.     As i know i don’t eat enough-not because i’m aneroxic or anything, i’m just very busy and i dont have a big appetite (although i eat very healthy with lots of fruits/veggies, calcium, protein, whole grains etc.) so i try to take vitamins to give me those extra nutrients i need.
    Currently i take a women’s multivitamin, an iron pill (i try to remember to take one in the morning also, doesn’t always happen), fish oil pills-usually about two, and a vitamin c (especially in the winter). Is this good? I keep reading different vitamins we should be taking, and how most of the nutrients in foods/vitamins we don’t actually absorb in our body? Read we only absord like a third of what is listed, it really confuses me. I also just read in shape magazine (march 09) that we need more vitamin D in our diet and in a multivitamin even there’s not enough.
    What do you recommend i take? keep doing this? I try to eat foods with the more vitamins/nutrients.
    Sorry i know this is a lot of questions, could someone give me some tips? I’m a 20 year old female

    This is basically a plea for help. Im 20 years of age, im about 5 foot 7 and im 15.9 stones.

    Most of my body fat is around my waist, hips and back and i find it nearly impossible to find exercise that helps work on these areas. ive tried loads of diets but for the last two months i have decided to obey the healthy rules ( i.e eat 5 fruit and veg a day, 8 glasses of water, always have breakfast and basic meals) but nothing is shifting, infact, ive put on weight! I walk miles and miles each day, i do aerobics once a week and i still feel like nothing is changing. Im not stepping down to slimming pills, starving myself or surgery.

    I just want to know if there is anything obvious that im not doing or anything i should change. Is there any specific foods which i should try and eat which would improve my metabolism? Help! From a despirate overweight unsexy woman ;( xx

So things get hot and steamy and you guessed it. My pp was broke! This had happened once before with the prior gf (but I chalked it up to her being unattractive and the fact I really didnt want to be with her; I actually tried ending the relationship a million times) Anyways, the other thing was I started Lipitor when this all started. My theory is my body is soo depleted of cholesterol right now (it dropped from ~230 to 83 in 6 weeks and I have been on it for 6 months now) that its causing problems. My urine is dark (liver problems from it), my memory is not functioning (due to lack of cytochrome C produced from fatty acid cycle aka need cholesterol), and my muscles are starting to hurt. I talked to the doctor and quit taking it Monday morning. I was able to get myself off Monday night (but the orgasm wasnt all that great) and I have been well… broke all day today. I dont even want to try. Cholesterol is also the precursor to making testerone. So, being the totally awesome girl that this is. She said dont worry about it and wanted me to stay the night and cuddle. We are going out again this next Sunday. Now, I would really like to get things working by then. I have already eliminated the lipitor, I have changed my diet (eating lots of potassium, zinc, b6, omega 3s) I am taking Gingo Bilobia to help with the blood flow and teas. I am even waking up 30 minutes early to exercise. Also, stress could be an issue. Since mid Dec, I had major lay offs at work (over 50%; i survived), death in the family, and pyscho ex gf drama (claiming pregnant, cut herself up, committed to pysch ward). So, any advise from guys or women? I figure if things arent back to normal by next Monday I will schedule an appointment with the Dr. Or should I give it more time? Could it be nerves (I usually dont have sex on date 1 and this girl like I said is hot) Thanks!
